Terms for participation, payment and cancellation

1 Nature of the agreement

Wren Nature Tours provides the excursions, local transport and organisation of the nature tour.

For accommodation, local guiding services and access to the vulture feeding station, Wren Nature Tours uses services provided by third parties, including Brugarol and the Pioneers of Our Time Foundation.

You are responsible for your own travel between your home and Mas Nou and for your meals, as described in section 4.

2 Confirmation of participation

Participation in the nature tour is confirmed after:

• the booking request has been completed and submitted;
• Wren Nature Tours has received the deposit by the stated deadline; and
• Wren Nature Tours has received the remaining payment by the stated deadline.

3 Payment to Wren Nature Tours

The deposit is €250 excluding VAT per person. Your place is reserved once the deposit has been received.

The remaining amount for the services provided by Wren Nature Tours must be paid no later than 1 March 2027.

After 1 March 2027, Wren Nature Tours will enter into non-refundable commitments connected with organising the tour. If payment is not received on time, Wren Nature Tours reserves the right to cancel your participation.

4 Meals

Participants prepare meals together or individually.

Groceries are arranged by mutual agreement. Wren Nature Tours facilitates the discussion and transport to the supermarket. No additional charge is made for this transport.

When meals are prepared together, any dietary requirements will be discussed within the group. On longer excursion days, participants may choose to buy their evening meal at a restaurant at their own expense.

5 Cancellation by the participant

Cancellations must be made in writing by email.

The following cancellation terms apply to services provided by Wren Nature Tours:

• cancellation on or before 31 December 2026: the deposit of €250 excluding VAT will be refunded;
• cancellation after 31 December 2026 and before 1 March 2027: the deposit of €250 excluding VAT will not be refunded;
• cancellation on or after 1 March 2027: the full amount for the services provided by Wren Nature Tours remains payable.

6 Cancellation by Wren Nature Tours

Wren Nature Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour in the event of:

• insufficient participant numbers; or
• force majeure, such as serious illness of the organiser, extreme weather or an emergency.

In that event, all amounts paid by the participant to Wren Nature Tours, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.

7 Insurance and liability

Participation in the nature tour is at the participant’s own risk.

Participants are responsible for arranging:

• travel insurance; and
• cancellation insurance, if desired.

Wren Nature Tours is not liable for loss, damage or injury, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

8 Final provision

These terms form an integral part of the agreement. By submitting a booking request, the participant confirms that they have read these terms for participation, payment and cancellation.
